New this year – elementary, middle, and high school parent-teacher conferences! Parents and guardians at all grade levels now have an opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher(s) to discuss academic progress on Nov 24-25, 2025.

Your child's teachers sent a sign-up email last week. Please use the link in that email to schedule your conference by Wednesday, Nov. 19. If you have not received an email from a teacher you want to have a conference with, please reach out to them directly. Thank you for partnering with us to support your child's academic success. 

Cold weather is upon us! Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather when they leave for school. We will be going outside for recess unless it is raining or the real-feel temperature drops below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. 

If a student does not have a coat, they may ask the nurse to borrow one, and the nurse will check her supply. If you do not want them borrowing a coat then please make sure that your child is aware, and wears their own to school.    

If your child is missing a jacket/coat (water bottle, lunch kit, etc.), please ask your child to check the lost & found. Lost & found items are located on the hooks/shelves that wrap around underneath the main stairwell. Parents, you are welcome to stop in during the school day, and office staff can escort you to the lost & found area to search. Thank you!

**Order Forms Due: Family Holiday Night

Reminder: Craft order forms are due this Fri. Nov. 14. Please see below:

A message from the Farmdale Faculty-Parent Association:

The FPA is hosting Family Holiday Night on Thursday December 4th from 6-7:30 PM. We will be assembling crafts, selling the 2026 FES Discount cards, cookie box assortments, and hot chocolate. 

The craft order forms are coming home with an attached envelope. Please return only ONE per family by Friday, November 14. If you cannot make it to the event, we will send your craft order and free craft home with your student after the event.

There will be vendors selling items for your students to purchase for their friends and family in place of our previous holiday shop. If you or someone you know would like more information on this please visit the link here:

**eWallet Info: Book Fair Shopping

The Scholastic Book Fair is happening now! Students shop with their class Nov. 10-12. 

Students who have shopped at Scholastic Book Fairs in the past may have leftover funds in their account. These funds need to be added to a NEW eWallet to be used at this current Book Fair. Otherwise, the money will not show up in their account.

**Class Pictures

All students will be a part of their class picture during the school day on November 19. Students are bringing home order forms for class pictures this week. If you are interested in purchasing one, please send in the completed order form with payment by Nov. 19 or order online. 

 

**Picture Retakes

Picture Retake Day will also be on November 19. If your student had their picture taken on original picture day but you would like them to have it retaken, please let your child's teacher know. Then send in your original picture package to be returned to the photographer on Nov. 19. 

 

**First-Time Pictures

If your student was absent on original picture day or they are new to Farmdale, they can have their photo taken on Nov. 19. Please ask your child’s teacher for an order form. Then please send in your completed order form with payment on Nov. 19 or order online.
