**Attention: Grades 2-5 Field Day has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 12th
Field Day had been scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th with a rain date of Thursday, May 14th. Due to the strong potential of rain on both Wednesday and Thursday, we have made the decision to move Field Day to Tuesday, May 12th. This should allow us to hold Field Day outdoors and welcome spectators.
Due to some other school events, we needed to make an adjustment to the time schedule:
9:10-11:25 AM Grades 2 and 4
1:00-3:15 PM Grades 3 and 5
If the weather on Tuesday changes to rain, our backup plan is to hold Field Day indoors on Wednesday, May 13th. We hope this does not happen because we will not be able to accommodate spectators indoors.

Don’t miss out on Summer Softball Skills Camp! A week full of fun and learning. Camp instruction will be led by former All-American Millersville Alum Aleese Angelo as well as current Millersville Senior Carly Vaughan.

*There is a $25 sibling discount. Price of camp includes skills camp, snacks, water refills, and a cinch sac. Camp T-shirts will be available to purchase separately.
As in previous years, there is an add-on option during registration to include time at the East Petersburg Pool after camp ends, from 2 pm-5 pm. Initial registration is for the skills camp portion only; you will need to select to add the pool option during the registration process.

Any current 6th-grade student interested in joining the Jr. High Cross Country team for the 2026-2027 school year should join the Schoology Group with the access code: 7WRWQ9KNN2. In addition, Hempfield is offering FREE physicals for next school year for all of your school sports. This will be held at the Franklin Gym on Thursday, May 14, at 8:00 PM. Please bring your Completed Section 5 and Blank Section 6 to the Physical. You can find those forms at the link below. There is no sign-up; you just need to complete your ATS Portal by August 5. Practices are held Monday-Friday, from 3-4:30, at Landisville Middle School. A shuttle bus will provide transportation from CMS to LMS after school. Pick-up will be at LMS Cafeteria Entrance.
Registration is now open for our 2026 Future Knights Sports Performance program. This is a free program for our Hempfield middle school athletes. This year we are opening it to both incoming 7th and 8th graders.
